Alaska 2006
What a trip this was. We traveled through California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and the Yukon Territories to get to Alaska. Round trip it was over 11000 miles of one adventure after another. We were treated to many wonderful sights and experiences. On our trip home we drove through the Yukon Territories where we thrilled at seeing the Aurora Borealis again and then back through British Columbia and the starting point of the Alaska Highway. We took a circuitous route but covered all of the Cassiar, Dalton, Top of the World and Alaska Highway. Back in California we found an unusually bare Mt. Shasta.
