2020 Treasures: Themes
Whenever I am asked where my writing ideas come from, I tend to say, "Life." There are themes I notice that repeat themselves just as there are words that with a mention take me back to where I've been and give hints as to where I might be going. The recurring theme of home resides in words like trust, abide, be still, courage, rejoice, peace, focus, content, and treasure. I see it in my poetry collections, in my novel, in my devotionals, and even in a short story based on the memoir of my cat. Somewhat the same yet somehow different, the words and the themes within my life play out. As I think about my next projects, I see glimpses of them surfacing again. Yet, I know there will be different perspectives and additional insight. These are not repeated ideas that leave me bored and restless. These are places of cherished memories where I reflect and find something altogether new.
Here are the pages that reflect these themes. If you have visited them before, I hope you return to them again. If you have not been here with me before, accept this as my invitation to visit my Amazon Author Page and learn more about my publications.
