Books of the Month: December 7, 2020-January 2, 2021
Here are the titles I read in December. It was a relaxing month of simply reading books for fun.
To Darkness and to Death and All Mortal Flesh by Julia Spencer-Fleming: Five Stars. I enjoy the character juxtapose of chief of police, Russ Van Alstyne, and Reverend Clare Fergusson. These are books four and five. I couldn't wait to start book six. There is a good balance of intrigue and moral dilemma until the end of each book.
Dachshund Through the Snow by David Rosenfelt: Five Stars. Sometimes it's fun to read a seasonally-themed mystery. What could be better than one involving dogs! Rosenfelt also has a dry humor that makes his books enjoyable.
My reading goal for 2021 is 36 books. Follow my progress on Goodreads. Do you have a reading challenge for yourself this year?
