Celebrations: Small Moments
Poets write about major events, but most often we describe them within small moment. One of my favorite poems is by William Carlos Williams.

This poem is also about being considerate after being inconsiderate. It is a tongue-in-cheek apology anticipating a bantering response. It is a love poem, the sweetness and coldness of affection in the same moment.
