Happiness
Happiness is a fleeting emotion. Fickle at best, it stays as warm as a mocha latte and lasts about as long.
Why?
Happiness is based on conditions. Much like the weather, it fluctuates with our emotional barometers. Our highs and lows determine the cloud-cover, whether our dispositions will be stormy or sunny.
So, should we seek happiness? I'm not sure we should. Because my happiness may happen one way and others in completely another. After all, not everyone likes coffee. Some people are allergic to chocolate.
What is the solution? I think there is something better than seeking my personal happiness. In other words, I doubt I'll find it in a mocha latte.
