One Good Thing Every Day: December 8, 2013
Peace casts its light on the crossroads of "needs" and "wants." Well-being vacillates in maintaining balance and threatens to stifle peace completely when not appeased. Peace chooses between the glimmering-shimmering, latest-greatest prize and the subtle, humble illumination surrounding tangible basics. It sets aside personal desire to lift up the desolate. It seeks compromise while keeping conviction. It reigns by controlling the intensity of its flame. Peace protects from life's scalding burns and provides compassionate warmth on our coldest days.
