Five Stars
After reading several WWII books in the past few years, I learned more about WWI and the Lusitania through this riveting fictional account. This book is more fascinating because of a seamless and innovative three-author collaboration. I finished reading it after arriving in Kansas City, and it made visiting the WWI Memorial all the more poignant and intriguing. I am looking forward to reading a nonfictional account, Dead Wake by Erik Larson, because of the recommended reading list at the back of the book. I've also enjoyed The Summer Country by Lauren Willig (soon to be reviewed) and hope to read the other two authors individual works as well.
