What the Wind Knows by Amy Harmon
Four Stars
I enjoyed learning more about the conflict in Ireland in 1921, and I loved the chapter inscriptions from W. B. Yeats that connected the chapter themes. The engaging writing style kept me interested. The plot premise is unlikely, and yet Amy Harmon makes it believable the way we long to live within a fairy tale or recapture the mystical quality of folk lore. I would recommend this book for those who enjoy historical fiction with a hint of romantic fantasy.
